The Traitors Season 2 Release Date Announced; Mallika Sherawat, Munawar Faruqui Join Karan Johar's Show

Karan Johar-hosted reality show ‘The Traitors’ is all set to return with its second season! After a successful first season, fans had been eagerly waiting to find out when ‘The Traitors 2’ will premiere. The wait is finally over as the makers have announced that it will premiere from August 13 on Amazon Prime Video, with new episodes dropping every Thursday on the streaming platform. Karan Johar shared the announcement date teaser which also introduces the first two confirmed contestants of The Traitors season 2- Mallika Sherawat and Munawar Faruqui.

The Traitors Season 2 promo is out, and the game of deception is set to return with bigger twists, more drama and a brand-new set of players. Hosted by Karan Johar, the upcoming season promises another

round of betrayals, mind games and unexpected alliances. The promo begins with Karan Johar talking about some betrayals being so iconic that they deserve a place in the “museum of Traitors.” The video also gives a glimpse of contestants from the first season, including Purav Jha, Apoorva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid, Ashish Vidyarthi, Uorfi Javed and Elnaaz Norouzi.

Karan then says the former contestants are suffering from “PTSD — Post Traitors Stress Disorder”. He adds that 21 new players will enter the palace once again for a new battle of trust and betrayal in The Traitors season 2.

Mallika Sherawat And Munawar Faruqui Announced As First Confirmed Contestants

The host then teases that the upcoming contestant lineup is “killer” before introducing the first confirmed name, Mallika Sherawat. While introducing the actor, Karan says, “Murder karna to inki fitrat mein hai. But will she kill in this game too or…?”

The promo also reveals Munawar Faruqui as another confirmed contestant on the show. Introducing the reality TV star, Karan calls him “the king of reality TV” and mentions that he comes “all the way from Nagpada.”

Talking about the new season, Karan hints that the contestants will not just compete in tasks but will also play with emotions. He warns that everyone will face betrayal as the game moves into a bigger and more intense round. With Mallika Sherawat and Munawar Faruqui joining the lineup, The Traitors Season 2 is already creating excitement among fans.
