Iconic singer Asha Bhosle passed away on Sunday, April 12, in Mumbai. The funeral was held with state honours on April 13 at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, with several celebrities and politicians in attendance to pay their final respects. Amid an outpouring of heartfelt tributes on social media, Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter, Zania Bhosle, has been sharing emotional posts and cherished memories. On April 16, she took to social media and recalled a lesson that she learned from her grandmother.

Zanai Bhosle was completely devastated by the loss of the legendary singer. Asha Bhosle shared a close bond with her, and the duo always made appearances together at public events. A while ago, Zanai took to her Instagram story and revealed how her grandmother always told
her that “life must go on.”
She shared a beautiful picture of sunrise and wrote, “The sun rises & sets every day, and as my grandmother said, life must go on…” Zanai also thanked everyone who had been reaching out to her on social media to offer condolences. She added, “Thank you to everyone who has been reaching out online, it gives me solice to see the love for her and my heart is with you all…take care.” Along with the note, she used Asha Ji’s song Main Asha Hoon. After the funeral, Zania took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt note remembering Asha Bhosle. She shared a fun throwback video with the legend and wrote, “As I wake up this morning, I realise I have lost my partner in crime, my bestfriend, a person who completed my entire world and the first person to hold me when I was born. What do I do now? Who am I supposed to wake up and give a hug to in the morning and have chai with? Who’s going to be waiting for me everyday when I come home or who am I supposed to crack lame jokes with..”
She further added, “These are just a few things to remember her by, but to all those who have felt this loss with me, remember that she was and is the definition of LIFE and LAUGHTER, so if you have to remember her only remember her that way!! She’s looking down on us all, especially her family and I believe she’s going to comeback to me very soon, because that is what she promised me and told me always!! I have lost the love of my life and there is no bigger grief in the world so I urge you guys to live life to your fullest and celebrate her that way and celebrate her life!! I love you ashaai, and goodbye for now my love..
