Jammu and Kashmir Police have recovered two AK-47 rifles and 350 kilograms of explosives from Faridabad, Haryana. The recovery was made after a Kashmiri doctor was arrested from Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur
for allegedly putting up posters supporting terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed in Srinagar.
Earlier, an AK-47 rifle was recovered from the locker of Dr Adeel, a faculty member at the Government Medical College in Anantnag. His arrest led authorities to another doctor, who was subsequently detained for questioning.
The latest recoveries point to a wider nexus under investigation, with security agencies working to trace the source and intended use of the weapons and explosives. Officials said the operation was conducted in close coordination with Haryana Police.
Further details and the official statement regarding the findings are awaited as investigators continue to probe possible links to terror financing and arms trafficking networks across state borders.
