Sultanpur, May 30 (PTI) A labourer died after being buried under debris when a mud wall collapsed in Natouli village of the Sultanpur district on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The incident occurred when Ramjag (40), a resident of Natouli village, was engaged in demolition work at the house of a fellow villager under the Baldirai police station area. During the process, the dilapidated mud wall suddenly collapsed, trapping him under the debris.
Villagers pulled him out from the rubble and rushed him to the local community health centre, where doctors declared him dead, police said.
SHO Mahendra Pratap Singh said the labourer was critically injured after the wall gave way and later succumbed to injuries despite medical attention.
Police have sent
