Bollywood’s young star Ishaan Khatter has added a new milestone to his journey and this one comes with a prime Bandra address. The actor has invested in a plush apartment in Mumbai’s sought-after Pali Hill area, a neighbourhood long favoured by celebrities and industry insiders.
According to property registration documents accessed by real estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix, Khatter purchased the luxury home for Rs 29.37 crore. The apartment is located in Navroz Apartment at Navroz Premises Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, Bandra, one of the well-known residential pockets in the Pali Hill micro-market.
The property, identified as Flat No. 14A, has a built-up area of 2,989.05 square feet. Based on the transaction value, the deal translates
to a rate of approximately Rs 98,200 per square foot, underlining the premium nature of the locality. Registration records show that Khatter paid Rs 1.76 crore towards stamp duty and registration charges. The apartment was sold by Kapil M. Mahtani, and the transaction was registered recently.
Born on November 1, 1995, Ishaan Khatter is the son of actors Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azeem. He made his first on-screen appearance as a child in the 2005 film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!, which starred his half-brother Shahid Kapoor. His breakthrough as a lead actor came with Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds (2017), a performance that earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Khatter went on to achieve commercial success with Dhadak (2018) and steadily expanded his career across international and streaming projects. His credits include the BBC adaptation A Suitable Boy (2020), Netflix’s American limited series The Perfect Couple (2024), and the Indian romantic drama series The Royals (2025), where he played a reluctant heir opposite Bhumi Pednekar.
In 2025, Khatter starred alongside Vishal Jethwa in Neeraj Ghaywan’s Homebound, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The film received a nine-minute standing ovation at its debut screening and was later selected for the Gala Presentations section at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, earning widespread critical acclaim. That same year, Khatter was also featured in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 list.
