Jubilant FoodWorks Jumps 9% Post-Q2; MOFSL Says It Beat Peers Despite Tough Conditions

Jubilant Foodworks Share Price: Shares of Jubilant Foodworks, the operator of Domino’s India, surged nearly 9 per cent on November 14 after the company posted strong earnings for the second quarter of FY26.

The stock climbed to an intraday high of Rs 622.95 in early trade — its highest level in more than a month.

Jubilant Foodworks Q2 Results

The company reported a standalone net profit of Rs 64 crore for the July–September quarter, up 23 percent year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 52 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations increased 16 percent YoY to Rs 1,699 crore. Total expenses grew 15 per cent YoY to Rs 1,620 crore. Reported EBITDA rose nearly 16 per cent to Rs 329.4 crore, with the EBITDA margin steady at 19.4 per cent.

Group system sales stood at Rs 2,746.5 crore. Jubilant Foodworks ended the quarter with 3,480 stores, adding 93 outlets during Q2. Domino’s alone accounted for 3,179 stores, with a net addition of 81 locations.

Brokerage View

Motilal Oswal said Jubilant Foodworks witnessed strong festive demand in October 2025, outperforming expectations largely due to the shift in the festive calendar. The brokerage added that management expects this positive momentum to continue through November–December 2025.

Motilal Oswal maintained a Neutral rating with a target price of Rs 650 per share, implying an upside of over 13 per cent from the previous closing price of Rs 573.50.

According to the brokerage, lower input costs—mainly in cheese and sauces—due to GST-related benefits helped expand margins by nearly 50 basis points. Part of these savings was passed on to consumers through selective price cuts, including reducing the Big Pizza price from Rs 899 to Rs 799.

Motilal Oswal further noted that Jubilant Foodworks outpaced peers in revenue growth and same-store sales growth despite a weak demand environment. “We remain constructive on the business and believe the recent 20 per cent correction over the last four months helps limit downside risk,” it added.
