Janhvi Kapoor Rejects Fan-Made Ship Name With Shikhar Pahariya, Says ‘Don’t Have Time For Marriage’

Actress Janhvi Kapoor, who is currently promoting her upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari alongside Varun Dhawan, recently rejected her fan-made ship name with boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya during an interview with Pinkvilla. What began as a fun chat about her future quickly turned into a viral clip, all thanks to a fan’s attempt to coin a “ship” name for her and Shikhar.

When a fan asked her about marriage plans, Janhvi responded, “Mein abhi mere life meh bohot khush hoon. Multiplication ka abhi koi time nahi hai mere paas, na jinko aap refer kar rahe hai, na unke paas.” The fan then teased her further, asking, “Naam lene meh kya dikkat hai? Ulajh hai usme?” To this, Janhvi smiled and said, “Headline baan jata hai na phir.”

‘Jassi? Oh No,

I Don’t Like That!’ Not giving up, the fan then tried to combine the couple’s names, suggesting “Jassi” — short for Janhvi and Shikhar. Janhvi’s response instantly broke the internet. “Jassi?” she repeated, visibly amused, before exclaiming, “Oh no, I don’t like that. How (about) Janwar?” Her quick-witted yet awkward reaction drew laughter from the audience.

Clearly embarrassed, she added with a nervous laugh, “No but, arey yaar mai bohot asie ho jaati hun jab aise sawal unke baare meh puche jaate hai toh mai nahi answer kar rahi.”

Social media erupted soon after. One user posted, “The way she came up with Janwar and no one reacted so she awkwardly moved on😭😭😭,” while another commented, “Janhvi’s candidness is the reason she’s so relatable.”
