When a new year begins, many people perform small acts of kindness and recently, one such moment caught on camera melted hearts online. On New Year’s Day, Noah, an Indian content creator on Instagram,
came across a homeless couple in New York and decided to help them with something simple but meaningful: water and a meal.
In the video he shared, Noah approaches the couple who wave back at him with a smile. He first offers them bottles of water and gently asks, “Did you eat something today?” The man responds humbly, “Yeah, but it wasn’t great,” while the woman adds, “I was just thirsty.” Noah then asks if they would like to eat anything.

The couple shares their food preferences modestly. The man says, “Maybe something cheap, like McDonald’s. Double quarter pound with cheese,” and the woman replies, “Okay, I’ll get a Big Mac.” Noah heads out to get the meals and soon returns, handing over the packets.
The couple accepts them gratefully and the clip ends on an emotional note as the man looks up and says, “God bless you.”
Noah described the encounter in the caption of his post: “I was in tears seeing this. How long do you survive without water? I came across this couple on New Year’s Day and was in tears to see they didn’t even have water. I gave them water first, then later brought them food. Truly blessed to help.”
