The film’s Day 40 performance is particularly notable
because its collection was higher than that of several major Hindi films at the same stage.

From Rs 10 Lakh Opening To Rs 231 Crore
The film’s current box-office run is a major change from its opening. Hanuman Ansh started with just Rs 10 lakh and was made on a reported budget of around Rs 2 crore.
The film did not arrive with the kind of opening usually associated with a big Hindi release. Instead, it gradually found an audience through word of mouth.
Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the devotional drama is based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba. Its subject helped it connect with viewers over time, allowing the film to continue adding collections after its first few weeks.
The film’s long run has become more noticeable with newer releases such as Mirzapur: The Movie and Haiwaan now playing in cinemas. While audience attention often shifts to the latest releases, Hanuman Ansh has continued to retain screens and draw viewers.
Worldwide Collection Nears Rs 300 Crore
With its latest overseas earnings, Hanuman Ansh has reached a worldwide gross of Rs 291.40 crore. Its India nett collection has crossed Rs 231 crore, while its India gross has moved close to Rs 273 crore.
The film’s performance is notable not only because of its Day 40 collection, but also because of the gap between its modest opening and its current total. From a Rs 10 lakh debut, Hanuman Ansh has turned into one of the year’s most unexpected long-running theatrical performers.
