Delhi Capitals registered a resounding 7-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Saturday.
DC bundled out RCB for 109 runs thanks to Nandini Sharma’s three-wicket haul, before Laura Wolvaardt starred with an unbeaten 42-run knock to take the Capital City side over the line with 26 balls to spare.

Delhi won the toss and opted to field first as Grace Harris and Smriti Mandhana opened the innings for Bengaluru and put on 32 runs to start the game before Marizanne Kapp removed Harris for 9 off 13 deliveries. Smriti added 38 runs off 34 balls before Minnu Mani removed the RCB skipper.

Gautami Naik for 3 before Kapp doubled her tally with the removal of Georgia Voll for 11 off 14 to mark the beginning of a crumbling middle order Richa Ghosh was scalped for 5 runs by Mani.
Radha Yadav added 18 runs off 17 balls before Chinelle Henry joined in on the DC’s bowling act before Arundhati Reddy was trapped in front of the wicket by Nandini Sharma.
Sharma went on to dismiss Shreyanka Patil for a run-a-ball-seven, before completing her three-fer with the wicket of Sayalia Satghare for 3 to bundle out RCB for 109.
Delhi started their chase with Shafali Verma and Lizelle Lee, but faced an early roadblock as the former fell to Satghare for 16 off 8 balls before the RCB bowler picked up her second with the removal of the other opener for 6 off 8 deliveries.
Laura Wolvaardt and skipper Jemimah Rodrigues stepped in to remedy the situation ad put up a 52-run stand to steady the ship, before Rodrigues was dismissed by Radha for 24 of 26 deliveries. Kapp came out to replace her fallen captain and accompanied Wolvaardt as the Protea duo took DC over the line with 26 deliveries to spare.
