The Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC Stenographer CBT Result 2025. Candidates who participated in the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Computer-Based Test can now view their results on the SSC’s official website at ssc.gov.in. The merit list is available in a PDF format featuring the names and roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates.
A total of 31080 candidates have passed the written exam and will be required to appear for the Stenography Skill Test next. The exam was held on August 6, 7, 8 and 11. As the Computer Based Examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by candidates have been normalised which have been used for processing the result of the CBT, states the official notice.
The minimum qualifying marks
in Computer Based Examination are fixed as follows: (i) UR: 30% (ii) OBC/ EWS: 25% (iii) All other categories (SC, ST, PwD, ESM, etc): 20%

Step 1. Visit the SSC official website, ssc.gov.in.
Step 2. Select the “Result” section and click on the “Steno ‘C’ and ‘D’” tab.
Step 3. Click on the final result link.
Step 4. Press Ctrl+F to open the PDF and type your name or roll number.
Step 5. If your name appears, you are eligible for further process.
Step 6. Download the PDF version of the SSC Stenographer Result 2025.
Step 7. Save and print the file for future reference.

SSC Stenographer Result 2025: What’s Next
The selection process consists of a Computer-Based Test, a Skill Test, and Document Verification. The final selection is based on performance in both the CBT and the Skill Test, followed by Document Verification. According to the official notice, selected candidates will undergo a document verification process.
As per the Notice of Examination, the allocation of Posts and Departments is based on merit-cum-‘order of preference’ of ‘Posts/Departments’ submitted by the candidates online.
