Formula One chief Stefano Domenicali believes that racing heavyweights Ferrari need to have a solid plan if the Prancing Horse seek a turn of fortunes in the upcoming season of F1.
Ferrari could only manage a fourth-place finish in the 2025 season, without a race win to their name, and Domenicali opined that the Italian outfit need to come up with an air-tight plan going forward.

“I’m sure Fred Vasseur, Lewis Hamiltoin and Charles Leclerc have a plan and that’s what is important. I think it’s important to react, not to fade away and for it to be normal to be fourth in the championship,” the Italian said.
“We want to have
strong Ferrari. They deserve to be in a stronger position. They need to make sure that there is the right energy and the right thing to follow up, because in 2026, everyone is talking, but no one knows where they are,” he added.
“If you saw what happened last year everyone was already knowing what was happening in the future. Stay tuned because every race there will be an evolution,” the F1 supremo added.

McLaren star Lando Norris edged out Red Bull’s four-time champion Max Verstappen to claim the title in dramatic fashion at the Yas Marina Circuit, amassing 423 points over the season and surpassing Verstappen’s 421 points. Norris acknowledged the addictive taste of victory but added he seeks to enjoy the moment rather than getting ahead of himself.
Despite Verstappen’s determined effort to erode Norris’s 102-point lead from earlier in the season, the Brit ultimately triumphed after a strong performance throughout the year. In stark contrast, Norris’s fellow Briton, Hamilton, faced his first season without a podium finish during his debut campaign with Ferrari.
The seven-time champion’s impressive record in the top tier suffered a significant blow as he replaced Carlos Sainz at Ferrari. Meanwhile, Sainz elevated Williams to a fifth-place finish in the championship, securing two podium finishes and helping the team accumulate 137 points by the year’s end.
