Feb 10 (PTI) Tremors were felt in Meghalaya after a mild earthquake struck Bangladesh on Tuesday evening, officials said.
The quake of 4 magnitude struck Bangladesh at 5.02 pm Indian time near the international border at Dawki, they said.
There were no immediate reports of loss of life or damage to property from either side of the border, they said.
Tremors were felt in parts of southern Meghalaya, prompting some residents to step out of their homes. PTI JOP SOM
