Rajat Patidar led from the front with a breathtaking unbeaten 93 off just 33 balls as defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru thrashed Gujarat Titans by 92 runs to storm into their second consecutive final.
Opting to bat, RCB capitalised on a questionable selection call from GT to pile up a massive 254/5. Patidar smashed nine sixes and five fours, including a brutal 28-run over off Kulwant Khejroliya, who was picked ahead of Arshad Khan. Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya chipped in with 43 runs each, while Jason Holder returned 2/39.
In response, GT crumbled early, losing key batters like Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill, and Jos Buttler inside the powerplay, before being bowled out for 162 in 19.3 overs.
