Deepika and Ranveer’s love story, of course, has always had that dreamy, filmy vibe. The two began dating back in 2012 after meeting on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. By October 2018, they had announced their wedding, and just a month later, tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at Lake Como, blending Konkani and Sikh traditions.
Their journey into parenthood began in 2024, when they surprised fans with their first pregnancy announcement on February 29. Later that year, in September, they welcomed their daughter Dua. The couple introduced her to the world during Diwali, revealing her name—“Dua,” meaning “prayer”—a name that beautifully captured what she meant to them.
Since then, the couple has kept their family life largely private, sharing only rare glimpses. Which is exactly why this new announcement feels even more special—it’s personal, heartfelt, and shared on their own terms.
Interestingly, this happy news comes at a time when Ranveer is riding a massive professional high. His film Dhurandhar crossed ₹1,000 crore globally on December 26, 2025, eventually going beyond ₹1,300 crore to become the biggest Indian film of the year. Its sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has already gone past ₹1,730 crore, making it the top-grossing Indian film of 2026 so far.
Our congratulations to the couple!
