In some heartbreaking news, KGF and Salaar co-director Kirtan Nadagouda’s 4-year-old son, Sonarsh K Nadagouda, has passed away. The child died after he got stuck in a lift. While more details about his death are not known, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan shared the heartbreaking news on his social media handle.
Pawan Kalyan expressed condolences to the family and wrote, “The tragic death of director Sri Kirtan Nadagowda’s son is heartbreaking. The tragedy that befell the family of Sri Kirtan Nadagowda, who is making his directorial debut in Telugu and Kannada, has left me deeply saddened. Chiranjeevi Sonarsh K. Nadagowda, son of Sri Keerthan and Smt. Samriddhi Patel passed away.”
The actor-turned-politician further
confirmed that the child passed away after being stuck in a lift. “I was deeply saddened to learn about the death of four-and-a-half-year-old Sonarsh, who got stuck in a lift. I express my deepest condolences to Sri Kirtan and Smt. Samriddhi. I pray to the Almighty to give the couple the courage to overcome the grief of their son,” he added.

However, it should also be noted that neither Kirtan Nadagouda nor his family has issued any statement regarding the tragic incident as of now.
Who Is Kirtan Nadagouda?
Kirtan Nadagouda is an Indian filmmaker and assistant director known for his work in South Indian cinema, especially with director Prashanth Neel. He served as co-director and assistant director on major pan-India hits like KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2. Besides the Yash starrer, Nadagouda was also a part of the direction team on Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire under Neel’s leadership.
Earlier this year, Kirtan Nadagouda also announced his directorial debut, a horror film produced by Prashanth Neel.
