We are obsessed! Whether it is speaking up against the Donald Trump government for using her music to promote deportation or making a stylish statement through her fashion, Olivia Rodrigo is loud and proud. She was recently spotted at the GQ Men of the Year party looking ‘happier’ than ever. The annual party, this year, doubled up as the publication’s 30th anniversary celebration, with the theme being ‘party like it’s 1995’.
The 22-year-old singer, who is known for music such as Deja Vu, Traitor, and Drivers License, to name a few, wore a sparkling Tom Ford gown for the party, which was held at West Hollywood’s Château Marmont. With the year’s theme being ’90s-inspired fashion, the singer’s shift dress was fabulously chic. She wore Look 38 from
Tom Ford’s Resort 2026 line, which debuted in Paris in October this year. She was styled by stylist duo Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo, reports Marie Claire.
The singer wore an iridescent, navy blue gown, which was completely covered in sequins. It featured a plunging scoop neckline and a short train. She paired her gown with strappy black sandals from Tom Ford as well. She accessorised with white gold pieces from Shay Jewellery, including $200K dainty diamond drop earrings, rings, and a diamond bracelet. She styled her hair by piling it at the top of her head in a messy-but-cute bun.
Olivia releases a limited-edition vinyl
Olivia had her dreams come true when Weezer joined her on stage during her headlining set at Lollapalooza in Chicago. According to a report by Billboard, the singer was so overjoyed she surprise-released a limited edition 7-inch vinyl commemorating the pop-rock summit.
“i still can’t believe i got to perform with @Weezer at @Lollapalooza this summer!! we just launched a limited edition 7” vinyl featuring our live performance audio of ‘Buddy Holly’ and ‘Say It Ain’t So’. get urs before they’re gone (sic)!” she wrote on X. With only 5,000 copies being pressed of the two-song blue vinyl in the US, they were sold very quickly after they went live on her official website.
In September, Olivia announced that she is releasing Live at Glastonbury (A BBC Recording), which is her entire set from her set at the Glastonbury Festival in England. It featured songs from her Sour and Guts albums and her duets with the Cure’s Robert Smith on his band’s iconic hits ‘Friday I’m in Love’ and ‘Just Like Heaven’. All the proceeds from the Cure songs is said to be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
