Shahid Kapoor And Kriti Sanon To Shoot A Song For Cocktail 2 In Italy?

The much-awaited sequel to Cocktail is already making waves. Fresh pictures from the sets of Cocktail 2 in Italy have gone viral on social media. The fresh report has suggested that the duo, known for their sizzling chemistry in Tere Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, will be shooting a song for the film against the breathtaking Italian backdrop.

TimesNow quoted Mid-day source saying, “The idea is to not only create a visually stunning number with Shahid and Kriti, but also match the freshness of the original Cocktail. The song is likely to be shot in the last week of September.” Report also mentions that the month-long Sicily schedule might have some extensive beach sequences. And the second schedule is likely to begin after Diwali for a 2026 release.

“The director has set some key moments on Sicily’s beaches. Homi wants to capture the warmth of the setting as he feels it will lend a beautiful mood to the sequences,” the source added.

Shahid has just completed his film Vishal Bhardwaj. Kriti Sanon also wrapped up Tere Ishq Mein with Dhanush. And Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Kuberaa. She has multiple projects in her kitty till now.

The sequel is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and written by Luv Ranjan. While details about the plot are being kept under wraps, the makers are aiming for a theatrical release in the second half of 2026. Earlier, Homi’s wife, Anaita Shroff Adajania, added to the buzz by sharing a glimpse of the Cocktail 2 script on her Instagram Story.

She will be next seen in Tere Ishq Mein with Dhanush. In January, the makers of the film released a teaser showcasing Kriti in an enigmatic avatar, perfectly embodying the depth, intensity, and complexities of her character.
