The ace filmmaker Atlee turned a year older yesterday, on September 21 and wishes poured in for him. Just like everyone else, Orry too wished Atlee through a special post, while the wish was quite unusual.
It wasn’t a very “Orry” post; it was raw, unfiltered, and had some sweet moments of him with Atlee.
After sharing the reel, Orry penned a long note expressing how he has realised social media can affect how people feel and that he has decided to keep his account more raw and less shiny.

The social media sensation took to his Instagram stories and shared, “In my last reel, I did something I don’t usually do—I very bravely showed a very raw, unfiltered side of myself. No dressing up, no gimmicks, just a real weekend in my life. It’s not always glitz and glamour, and it’s definitely not always a party or vacation. While that’s true for a large percentage of my life, the rest of it is just as ordinary as anyone else’s. Social media is a place I usually choose to share the shinier moments, but that doesn’t mean the rest doesn’t exist and that my struggles and daily hardships are non-existent.”

“It’s recently come to my knowledge that social media can affect how people feel about themselves. Seeing perfectly curated lives can sometimes make others feel less than, and I’d never want to be the reason someone feels that way. So, I’ve decided to start sharing a less polished, more authentic version of myself too, not just the highlights and the sparkles, but the raw and more human moments as well,” he further added while sharing that he has realised some of his content might make people feel sad.
Addressing that his intentions were never to make anyone feel low, Orry stated, “I have always overshared and overposted to make all you viewers always feel included on my trips, travels, and social life, showing the inside so you could feel like you were there too, vicariously living through my lens. I have always wished to carry you all along with me through every door I walked through.”
The social media sensation and celebs’ best friend continued and apologised to his followers if he has unintentionally hurt them and clarified, “While my life can look like it’s always summer-filled parties and after-parties—it is so much more than that.”
“I share my world to entertain and connect, not to hurt. I’ll try to show you all more of the real, unfiltered me too, because nobody’s life is perfect and always rainbows and sparkles, contrary to popular belief, not even mine,” he concluded.
