Lauren LaVera, Rory Culkin join 'Red Wedding'

Los Angeles, Jun 10 (PTI) Actors Lauren LaVera and Rory Culkin are set to feature in Gulfstream Pictures’ horror thriller film, titled “Red Wedding”.

LaVera is known for her role as Sienna Shaw in the “Terrifier” series. She last featured in “Twisted”.

Culkin has been part of projects such as “Mean Creek”, “Scream 4” and the television series “Swarm”, among others.

The film is directed by Josh Stolberg and is currently in production. It is written by Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger, according to the entertainment news outlet Deadline.

The project follows a teenager and her stepmother who are kidnapped and taken to a remote location as part of a ransom plot, soon discovering their captors are the least of their worries when a deadly bride and groom

arrive and begin picking them off one by one, according to the official logline.

It is produced by Mike Karz and William Bindley under Gulfstream alongside Amy Kim and Jamie Burke through Lifeboat Productions. Gulfstream is also financing the film.
