Bradley Cooper has finally addressed long-standing rumours surrounding plastic surgery, setting the record straight during a candid appearance on the SmartLess podcast. The Hollywood actor joined hosts
Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and longtime friend Will Arnett for the episode, where the conversation turned to the most bizarre things people assume about him.
During the discussion, Arnett recalled being asked to share something about Cooper that fans might not know. What followed was a blunt takedown of the persistent speculation surrounding the actor’s appearance.
“I said, ‘Well, there’s a lot'”, Arnett shared. “And then I was gonna I was gonna say, because we keep reading everybody thinks that Bradley’s had plastic surgery. Everybody keeps saying that. I’m like, ‘What people don’t know is that he hasn’t’. Right?”
Bateman quickly clarified, “That he hasn’t”. Arnett doubled down, adding, “Yeah. Of course, he hasn’t”.
‘People Think They Know Everything’
Cooper then chimed in, acknowledging that the rumours have followed him closely in recent weeks. “No, I get people (coming) up to me the last couple weeks”, the actor said, before explaining, “They’re like, ‘Oh, you look good! Yeah. Yeah, but it’s crazy’”.
Arnett admitted that the ongoing chatter left him frustrated on Cooper’s behalf. “But it did make me think. It made me mad because people say that all the time and it’s a hilarious thing. Everybody thinks that they know. You know you read that bullshit stuff”.
According to People magazine, Bradley Cooper has long been the subject of plastic surgery rumours, though he had never publicly addressed them before his guest appearance on the podcast. The moment marked the first time the actor openly responded to the speculation, making it clear that the assumptions were unfounded.
