The Aussie women won the toss and opted to bat first and went on to make a mammoth 338 runs in 49.5 overs, riding on Phoebe Litchfield’s ton and half-centuries from Ahsleigh Gardner and Ellyse Perry.
Alyssa Healy and Litchfield opened the innings for the most successful side in the history of the tournament but the former fell quickly to Kranti Goud as the Australian opener fell for just 5 runs off 15 deliveries. However, Perry walked in to accompany Litchfield as the duo notched up a 155-run stand for the second wicket.

Gardner made 63 runs before being caught short of the crease by Goud after Tahlia McGrath also suffered the same fate at the hands of Rodrigues. Alana King fell to Deepti Sharma for 4 runs before Kim Garth was run out by Amanjot Kaur for a run-a-ball-17 run knock.
Shafali Vera and Smriti Mandhana began the chase for the hosts but succumbed early as Garth removed Varma for 10 runs before she sent Mandhana back for 24 runs.
Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Rodrigues stepped in to steady the Indian chase and put up a 167-run partnership to keep Indian hopes alive before the captain was dismissed by Sutherland on 89 runs.
