Salman Khan has called out social media users for mocking his younger brother Sohail Khan over his changing appearance. During the latest episode of Bigg Boss 20, Salman also spoke about the constant scrutiny actors face over their weight, looks and physical transformations.
The actor made the comments while discussing how celebrities are often targeted whenever their appearance changes. He specifically mentioned Sohail and Varun Dhawan, both of whom have faced online comments about their bodies and looks.

Sohail Khan’s weight loss became a talking point online after photographs from an Alliance reunion surfaced following the reality show’s finale. He looked fit during his stint as a wildcard contestant, but his looks
were noticeably different in pictures taken after the finale.
The change led to comments about his health and speculation about why he had lost weight. There were also unverified claims on social media linking his transformation to Ozempic, although there has been no confirmation that Sohail used the medication.
Salman addressed the issue of body-shaming on Bigg Boss 20, asking people to look at themselves before commenting on someone else’s appearance. “Pehle apne aap ko dekho. Yeh aap log joh comment karte ho na, jiske upar, kisi ke upar joh bhi karte ho, pehle apni shakal dekh lo, apna jism dekh lo, uske baad karna yeh. Apne ma baap ko dekh lo pehle, unki sehat dekh lo, phir baat karna. Ek samajh mein aata hai ke you lost weight or put on weight, we do understand, but mazak udana Sohail ke upar, Varun ke upar, har ek ke upar.”
Salman Khan has also faced body-shaming
Salman has also faced trolling over his own changing physique. While preparing for his upcoming film SVC63, also reportedly titled Monster, he lost around 16 kilos. After some users called him “mota”, Salman addressed the comments on Bigg Boss 20 and removed his shirt to show his physique. His comments also come as other actors face similar trolling over their appearance. Katrina Kaif, for instance, was recently criticised online over her postpartum weight after attending the Ambani family’s Ganpati celebrations with husband Vicky Kaushal.
Salman Khan’s upcoming projects
Salman has several projects lined up, including the patriotic war drama Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. The film was initially announced under the title Battle of Galwan.
