Uditi Singh, who is currently a contestant on Bigg Boss 20, has opened up about her past relationship with TV actor Karan Wahi after reports that he could enter the show as a wildcard. Speaking to fellow contestants, Uditi said she has “moved on” and would be fine even if Karan entered the Bigg Boss house. She admitted that the breakup was difficult initially and that she used to cry a lot, but said she is no longer affected by the possibility of seeing him again.
How Karan Wahi and Uditi Singh Started Dating
Karan Wahi and Uditi Singh’s relationship began with a random message, turned serious within months and eventually lasted two-and-a-half years. The ex-couple kept much of their relationship private, but they did share moments together on social
media before eventually going their separate ways.
2019: Uditi Singh First Met Karan Wahi In London
Uditi had revealed that she was the one who first messaged Karan. She contacted him after finding information about a restaurant close to where she lived in London. Karan was in the city with friends at the time, and the two eventually met at a restaurant. According to Uditi, they met for three days while Karan was in London. They went shopping and to a disco with their friends before continuing to speak after he left. The two kept talking for around two months and then started dating.
By December 2019, reports were rife that Karan and Uditi had been together for more than six months. Uditi, who is from Chandigarh and was based in London, had also begun showing up on Karan’s social media.
January 2020: Karan Made Their Relationship Official
Karan made his relationship with Uditi Instagram official in January 2020. He shared a bunch of pictures with her after initially keeping their romance away from the public eye. Speaking about the decision at the time, Karan said he wanted to put an end to speculation about who he was dating. He also said he was happy in the relationship, while questions about their wedding had already started.
2020: Marriage Plans Were Being Discussed
The relationship seemed to be getting serious. Karan and Uditi continued sharing pictures together, including holiday posts and family moments. In April 2020, Karan wished Uditi on her birthday and shared throwback photographs of them together. At the time, he said there were no wedding plans, despite questions about whether the couple would eventually marry.
Uditi Moved To India For The Relationship
In her latest conversation, Uditi shared that the relationship had reached a point where marriage was being discussed. She said she wanted to move to India because long-distance relationships were difficult and she wanted a job in the same city as Karan. She completed her master’s around the time of the lockdown and was looking for a job while staying with her family. She also said the couple adopted a pet named Noah during this period. Uditi said they eventually dated for two-and-a-half years.
2022: Karan And Uditi Reportedly Broke Up
In 2022, however, reports confirmed that the relationship had ended. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Karan Wahi said that he was single and said people had known about the breakup for some time. He did not discuss what had gone wrong, saying he wanted to focus on his work. The report also noted that both Karan and Uditi had deleted their pictures together from social media. Around the same period, Karan said in March 2022 that marriage was not on the cards for him at that point.
2026: Uditi Says She Has Moved On
Their relationship has come back into focus after Uditi entered Bigg Boss 20. During a recent conversation on the show, she was asked about reports thatKaran Wahi could enter Bigg Boss as a wildcard contestant. Uditi said, during a conversation with fellow contestants Mahhi Vij, Qazi Touqeer and Aman Gandhi, that she was no longer affected by the possibility of seeing her ex again. She admitted that the initial period after their breakup was difficult and that she cried a lot, but said she has moved on now.
