SS Rajamouli’s ‘Varanasi’ Starring Priyanka Chopra And Mahesh Babu To Have Six Songs: MM Keeravani

SS Rajamouli recently announced the title of his upcoming magnum opus starring Priyanka Chopra and Mahesh Babu at a grand event at Ramoji Film City. The movie, titled Varanasi, has the audience excited,

and fans are already waiting with bated breath for the next update on the project. It now looks like we have news on the Priyanka Chopra and Mahesh Babu starrer.

MM Keeravani, the film’s music composer, shared an update about the film’s music as he attended the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Keeravani told PTI, “They (fans) can expect grandeur; more than that, I’m not supposed to reveal. There will be six songs in the film.”

“There is no pressure at all. When there’s clarity and conviction in any task you do, whether it’s a movie project or anything at all, pressure comes when there is confusion. To me, there’s no confusion,” he further added.

A massive screen was set up at Ramoji Film City for the announcement of the official title of the film, along with the first look. Several videos on social media show Mahesh Babu’s first look as Rudhra being displayed on the huge screen. The powerful teaser shows him holding a trishul, covered in blood, and riding a bull. The film also seems to be a time-travel adventure, with #GlobeTrotter and #TimeTrotter appearing at the end of the teaser. The screen then displays ‘SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi,’ officially confirming it as the film’s title.

A few days ago, the makers dropped the much-awaited first look of Priyanka Chopra from SS Rajamouli’s film Varanasi. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday night, the global star introduced her character, Mandakini, leaving fans awestruck with the film’s grand scale and her fiery avatar.
