Surbhi Jyoti And Sumit Suri Welcome Their First Child, A Baby Girl: ‘Our Daughter Is Here’

Television actress Surbhi Jyoti and her husband Sumit Suri have embraced a new chapter in their lives as they welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on June 13. The couple shared the happy news with their fans and well-wishers through a lovely post on Instagram.

messages from friends, colleagues, and fans across the entertainment industry. Kishwer Merchant commented, “Yayyyyiieeeee.. congratulations,” while Aashka Goradia, and many other actors also wished the new parents.

When Surbhi Jyoti Revealed Sumit Suri Is Rooting For A Baby Girl

In February, the 37-year-old actress shared that her husband is rooting for a baby girl. “We are in a beautiful space currently. Sumit has always been a very hands-on partner anyway, but with my pregnancy, he has been more vigilant. Pregnant or not pregnant, he’s a very caring, very loving husband,” she told Hindustan Times.

“I am happy as long as it’s a healthy baby. I don’t have a preference for the baby’s gender, but Sumit is hoping for a healthy baby girl,” she added.

Surbhi Jyoti and Sumit Suri tied the knot in October 2024 in an intimate ceremony at the Jim Corbett Resorts, Uttarakhand. In February 2026, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child.

On the professional front, Surbhi Jyoti is known for her performances in the television series Qubool Hai, Naagin, Ishqbaaz, Tanhaiyan and Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai.

Sumit made his acting debut in 2013 with the adventure thriller 3D film Warning. He has also appeared in films including What the Fish, Babloo Happy Hai, Surkhaab and A Billion Colour Story. Sumit was also seen in 14 Phere, a comedy starring Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda.
