Emily in Paris may have Paris in its title, but the Netflix hit has steadily expanded Emily Cooper’s world with every new season. After taking viewers to Rome in Season 5, Lily Collins has now hinted at where Emily’s adventures could lead next and fans might want to brush up on their Greek travel guides.
While Netflix has yet to officially renew Emily in Paris for Season 6, Collins revealed to Elite Daily that Greece has been subtly set up as the show’s next potential destination. The finale of Season 5 offered a strong clue when Gabriel sent Emily a postcard inviting her to join him in Greece, where he is taking a break from his new job as a private chef living on a yacht.
However, Collins pointed out that Gabriel’s postcard wasn’t the only hint
dropped in the finale. “We’re still waiting to hear if we get Season 6, but the idea of Greece has also been teased for Mindy’s bachelorette. So there could be other reasons that Emily would go to Greece outside of Gabriel,” she said.
Why Greece Makes Sense for Season 6
The mention of Greece was reinforced during another key moment in the Season 5 finale. After Mindy accepts Nico’s proposal, she excitedly tells Emily that she wants her bachelorette party to take place in Mykonos instantly sparking speculation about how the show’s storylines might overlap in a sixth season.
Ashley Park, who plays Mindy Chen, even floated a playful idea that could bring the characters together. “Maybe Gabriel will crash the bachelorette party,” she suggested, hinting at the romantic and chaotic possibilities Greece could offer.
Collins described Greece as an “epic location” for the show, though it remains unclear how prominently it would feature if Season 6 moves forward. Season 5 split its storyline between Paris and Rome, with Italy serving as a major setting for Emily’s professional and romantic life. In earlier seasons, however, destinations like Megève and Saint-Tropez appeared only briefly, lasting an episode or two.
What complicates the potential move is Emily’s emotional journey in Season 5. In the finale, she made it clear that Paris remains her true home, even choosing her career and love for the city over her relationship with Marcello. That decision suggests that while Emily may travel again, Paris is unlikely to be left behind entirely.
For now, fans will have to wait for Netflix to confirm whether Emily in Paris will return for Season 6. Until then, Collins’ hints and the finale’s not-so-subtle clues are enough to keep viewers speculating about whether Emily Cooper’s next fashion-forward chapter unfolds against the sun-soaked backdrop of Greece.
