Gurdas Maan Reveals He Once Wanted To Make Judo His Profession | News18 India Amrit Ratna Samman

Gurdaas Mann, one of the biggest and most loved singers in the Indian music industry, once thought of pursuing judo as a career. The singer, who was honoured at the News18 India Amrit Ratna Samman on June 17, spoke about how he once considered making judo his profession, as he was very good at sports.

Speaking at the News18 India Amrit Ratna Samman, he shared, “When one path is closed by destiny, another one opens. Whatever a person learns in life eventually proves useful. I was passionate about singing, but I wanted to make judo my profession. I even completed a master’s degree in physical education. I have also written a song about this, through which I try to convey a message. My songs always carry a message for people.”
