The Sanskruti Arts Festival is returning from February 6 to February 9, bringing culture, music and large crowds to Upvan Lake in Thane (West). Originally scheduled for January, the festival was delayed due to administrative and election-related reasons. Now, to ensure smooth traffic flow, the Thane Traffic Police have announced certain rules. Traffic restrictions will be in place daily from 2 pm to midnight during the event.
The area around Upvan Lake is likely to see heavy footfall as nearly 200 stalls will be set up along the main road from Yeoor Gate to Upvan Payaladevi Temple. Many well-known artists and performers are also scheduled to take part, making the festival a major attraction for residents and visitors alike.

Key Junctions
Traffic coming towards Upvan Lake from areas like Vartak Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Devdaya Nagar–Gandhi Nagar, Kapurbawdi, and Pawar Nagar will not be allowed to move ahead from Birsa Munda Chowk. Strict No-Parking Zones Announced
Parking will not be allowed on several stretches during the festival. These include both sides of the road from Yeoor Gate to Shivai Nagar Chowk, the road from Payaladevi Temple to Birsa Munda Chowk, and the stretch from Lotus Society main entrance to Ashapura–Navjeevan Medical in Upvan.
