Today, August 11, 2026, Urmila Matondkar’s ex-husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir shared pictures from his wedding reception with Nidhaa Bhatt, months after the couple got married. He also posted a romantic note for his wife, calling her his “home” and “peace”. Amid this, a cryptic note by Urmila is going viral where she is talking about love and loyalty. Urmila and Mohsin got divorced in 2024 after eight years of marriage.

Mohsin had announced his marriage to Nidhaa in June this year, sharing pictures from their wedding celebrations. Today, he treated fans to more glimpses from the festivities, along with a heartfelt note about starting
this new chapter of his life with his wife.
Mohsin shared pictures from the wedding reception, where he looked dapper in a pink sherwani, while Nidhaa looked stunning in a red ensemble. In the caption, Mohsin wrote, “You didn’t just become my wife. You became my home, my peace, and my favorite part of every day. I’m grateful to Allah for bringing you into my life, and I promise to cherish you, stand by you, and love you through every chapter of our journey. Here’s to us, to forever, and to the beautiful life we’re about to build together. Thank you for being mine, my love. Forever grateful for you.”
Mohsin had also shared a personal note when he first announced his wedding to Nidhaa. The message spoke about faith, patience and trusting God’s plan. “Pure intentions, honest love, and a heart full of sabr and shukur. Before his marriage to Nidhaa, Mohsin was married to actor Urmila Matondkar. The two got married on February 4, 2016, in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family. Their relationship had made headlines at the time, particularly because of their interfaith marriage and their 10-year age gap. Mohsin, a Kashmiri businessman and model, was younger than Urmila.
