Akanksha Choudhary and Pamala Serena were the latest contestants to get evicted from Lock Upp 2, just a week before the finale of the Netflix reality show. Before her eviction, Akanksha had already revealed two of her secrets on the show. While one final secret remained, she decided to open up about it post her eviction. In a conversation with Tejasswi Prakash, she spoke about her final secret, revealing that she was abandoned by her family at 19 after taking a stand for her mother.
Akanksha Choudhary Reveals She Was Abandoned By Her Family At 19
When Tejasswi asked whether she would like to reveal her third and final secret, Akanksha Choudhary replied, “It’s too dark.” However, she then went on to reveal the secret. “When I was 19, I was abandoned by my family. Because I took a stand for my mother. Someone
had insulted her very badly. I couldn’t stand it and created a huge scene and I was extremely rude and said all sorts of things to that person. My mother was not doing well health-wise. Mentally also she was not doing a little well. I called my father and asked him to come. And I was asked to leave the house,” said Akanksha.
“Because they were saying, ‘Maybe if you leave then everything will be okay.’ These were the exact words,” recalled Akanksha. Akanksha shared that her mother eventually became emotional and asked her to return home as she could no longer bear the situation. Although she moved back, Akanksha said she still doesn’t have a room of her own in the house.
“My mother couldn’t bear it anymore. She became very emotional and called me back home. Then I went back, but I still don’t have a room in that house. Whenever I go, my stuff is kept in the prayer room. I sleep with my parents in their bed even though I am 24. So now I am planning to settle in Mumbai,” she said. She further added, “I feel that if I had already committed three of my secrets to the show then I should reveal them here.”
Akanksha Choudhary On Her Bond With Yogesh Rawat
Before Lock Upp 2, Akanksha Choudhary appeared on Splitsvilla X6, which also featured Yogesh Rawat. Despite their rollercoaster journey on the dating reality show, the two developed a close bond on Lock Upp 2.
When Tejasswi Prakash asked Akanksha about her feelings for Yogesh, she admitted, “Mixed feelings hain.” She also said she is rooting for him to win the show, but added with a laugh, “From now on, we will never do a reality show together again.”
