Alia Bhatt has finally reacted to the success of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. Dhurandhar has firmly established itself as one of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters, ensuring that Hindi cinema ended 2025 on an emphatic high. The Aditya Dhar-directed film has generated significant buzz, and many big names in Bollywood have appreciated the film. However, if there is one person whose silence Reddit could not seem to comprehend, it was Alia Bhatt.
Now, Alia Bhatt has finally appreciated the film. Her production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions, took to Instagram to celebrate the film’s success. The post read, “It’s the voice of today’s India. It’s the choice of today’s India. It’s based on a chapter in history. And now it’s the number one chapter in India’s
cinema history. Cheers to Dhurandhar. And three cheers to the ENTIRE team. You not only created waves —you brought the high tide back to the theatres. If this is what part one did in winter, imagine what part two will bring in spring!!!” She reposted it with the caption, “Movie magic.”

Congratulations to Aditya Dhar and Jio Studios for becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of all time (in a single language).”
The production house continued and added, “As the captain of the ship, Aditya Dhar’s clarity of purpose, fearless storytelling, and unwavering commitment to excellence have set a new benchmark for Indian cinema. We also congratulate every cast member and technician of this brilliant film for giving their all. You are the Dhurandhars who made the thought of the film explode so loudly and so gloriously on the big screen. Thank you for giving us cinema that inspires us to strive forward in the pursuit of creative excellence.”

The film also stars Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sanjay Dutt. Dhurandhar has become the first Bollywood film to cross Rs 800 crore at the Indian box office. Its worldwide collection has already crossed Rs 1200 crore, making it one of the biggest Hindi films of all time. The sequel is scheduled to be released in March this year.
