The 10-minute delivery apps have made life easier for customers, but for delivery agents, the race against time often comes with unexpected challenges. You never know what they go through to make sure
every order arrives on time.
Recently, a user, Neha Moolchandani, on the social media platform X, shared one such story that touched millions of hearts. Her Blinkit delivery agent’s electric vehicle (EV) broke down midway, yet what he did next left her deeply moved.
What Happens If Blinkit Delivery Agent’s EV Breakdowns Down
In her post, she stated that the delivery executive arrived late and explained that his EV had run out of charge, forcing him to drag it all the way to her location. He then asked her permission to charge the battery for a few minutes, to which she agreed.
She wrote, “Blinkit guy came late! He told me that his EV vehicle got discharged mid way so he has to drag! Requested me, ‘If he can charge the battery for few minutes?'”
Neha further mentioned that the delivery executive sat outside for an hour while his battery was getting charged. “After charging, he asked me that he’ll pay for the electricity! And I was thinking, “How generous he was that he had the heart to ask for paying!” she added.
Before leaving, the delivery agent gave her a Milky bar just to show his gratitude. Neha stated. “I notice that people with less resources always have more to give!” she concluded the post.

Internet Reactions
The wholesome act of the delivery executive quickly caught the attention of social media users.
One already exclaimed, “Blinkit might appoint you as brand ambassador and good pr head.”
Another person commented, “That moment speaks volumes about human dignity and grace. Even in hardship, some carry a generosity that wealth can’t imitate. It’s humbling to see how those with the least often possess the richest hearts. Gratitude, it seems, isn’t born from abundance but from empathy and integrity.”
A user wrote, “People who have the least often understand the value of every little thing – time, help, kindness. That’s why their gratitude feels so pure. A Milky Bar may be small, but the heart behind it is huge.”
“Gem of a person met gem of a person!” wrote the next.
“The richest hearts aren’t measured by wallets, but by warmth,” commented another.

This is not the first time a delivery executive has gone the extra mile—literally—and won hearts online. Earlier, a Swiggy delivery agent walked nearly 3 km to deliver an order after he was left with no vehicle or money to commute.
He went on to explain that he was a fully educated ECE graduate who had previously worked at Ninjacart and BYJU’s but lost his job during COVID-19 pandemic.
