Jamshedpur, Sep 7 (PTI) A seminar on the prevailing condition of the state’s education system here turned into a condolence meeting following the demise of Jharkhand Minister Sudivya Kumar, with JD(U) MLA Saryu Roy terming the death a loss for the state..
Organisers of the seminar “Honouring teachers, Uplifting Education system” said a new date for the programme would be announced soon.
Expressing grief over Kumar’s death, the convenor of the organising committee and Janata Dal (United) MLA Saryu Roy termed Kumar’s death a “personal loss”.
“Sudivya ji’s death is not only a loss to the state government and the JMM but to the state itself,” he said on X. “I have lost a true companion and well-wisher. This loss cannot be compensated. May God grant
the noble soul a place at His feet..
