Welcome To The Jungle Box Office Day 3: Akshay Kumar Scores Big With ₹24.75 Crore Sunday

Akshay Kumar seems to have another crowd-pleaser on his hands. Welcome To The Jungle continued its theatrical run with impressive momentum over the weekend, as audiences turned up in large numbers, giving the comedy entertainer a solid boost at the box office.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film hit theatres on June 26 after holding paid previews a day earlier on June 25. Positive word of mouth and a strong Sunday turnout have helped the film put together an encouraging opening weekend.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Welcome To The Jungle collected an estimated ₹24.75 crore net in India on Sunday, making it the film’s biggest single-day collection so far.

The film had opened with ₹15.25 crore on Friday before witnessing healthy growth on Saturday

with ₹20 crore. Adding ₹3.75 crore earned through paid previews, the film’s total India net collection now stands at ₹63.75 crore after three days in theatres.

Welcome To The Jungle is the third instalment in the popular Welcome franchise, which began in 2007. The second film, Welcome Back, was released in 2015.

The latest chapter brings together an ensemble cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Aftab Shivdasani, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Kiran Kumar, Zakir Hussain, Vindu Dara Singh, Urvashi Rautela, Hemant Pandey, Brijendra Kala, Feroze Khan (Arjun), late Pankaj Dheer, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry, Jeetu Verma, Vrihi Kodvara, Adityaa Singgh and Bhagya Bhanushali.

Akshay has been enjoying a successful run at the box office, particularly in the comedy genre. His previous release, Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, emerged as a hit. Before that, Jolly LLB 3 also performed well commercially, while Housefull 5 went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2025.
