Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli To Make Cameos In Hanuman Ansh Sequel? Here's What We Know

Hanuman Ansh appears to be just the beginning of filmmaker Vishal Chaturvedi’s devotional franchise. Following the film’s unexpected success at the box office, the makers are now looking to turn it into a trilogy. Co-producer Namrata Singh has revealed that work on two follow-ups is already being planned, with the third film expected to take the story onto a much larger canvas. The franchise could also feature some high-profile cameos. According to Namrata, she has already approached several well-known personalities from India as well as abroad to explore their involvement in the upcoming films.

While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Namrata Singh revealed that Hanuman Ansh was always envisioned as a trilogy. While the first film explored Neem

Karoli Baba’s early years at Kainchi Dham in Uttarakhand, the second instalment will delve further into this phase of his life and take the story forward. She said, “Nothing is written yet. It’ll take a couple of months for the team to calibrate. We need to take a break before that. We haven’t done that in one-and-a-half years. We thought we’ll get a respite after release, but now our days are long! So, we’ll at least take 90 days to resume work.”

She further said, “The third film will focus on how he (Neem Karoli Baba) put India on the global map by spiritual energy that he transferred to the foreigners, be it Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, Julia Roberts, etc.”

When asked if the team had approached devotees of Neem Karoli Baba, including Julia Roberts, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, Namrata revealed that some of these personalities had indeed been contacted for potential cameos in the franchise. She said, “I have reached out to some of them, and they were aware of the film earlier.”

Hanuman Ansh has emerged as one of the biggest surprise success stories of 2026. The film has already crossed ₹150 crore net in India, despite opening to a modest response.
