Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 20 has finally begun, and this season brings together a mix of familiar faces and contestants who may be new to a wider Indian audience. Among those entering the Bigg Boss house is Rohed Khan, an Austrian actor and model who has already appeared in Bollywood films such as Tejas and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
Who Is Rohed Khan?
Rohed Khan is an actor and model who hails from Austria. He speaks several languages, including German, Farsi, English and Hindi.
Before getting into acting, Rohed worked as a model.
His Bollywood Journey
Rohed made his acting debut with Tejas in 2023, starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead. He played Sarqalam, an antagonist in the film.
He was then seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger
Shroff. Rohed played a militant head in the action movie. He also appeared in films like Sarzameen, and Detective Sherdil.
In an earlier interview with Free Press Journal, Rohed said that he had signed on for Squid Game but ultimately chose to work in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan because of a clash in dates.
Rohed has also revealed that he had auditioned for Karan Johar’s Takht and even went through look tests for the project. However, the period drama was eventually shelved.
In 2025, he was cast alongside Golshifteh Farahani in the international drama Les Clochettes de Kaboul (When She Hears The Bells), playing the role of Milad.
Apart from his work in films, Rohed has also featured in advertising campaigns for several international and Indian brands, including Gillette, Doritos, Men of Platinum, Harley-Davidson Austria, Hero Hunk India, Celio India and Sony Camera. He is also trained in martial arts, holding a second-degree black belt in karate, and has a background in dance.
Rohed Khan Was Once Linked To Zareen Khan
Rohed also found himself in the spotlight for reasons beyond his work. In 2025, dating rumours surfaced after he was spotted with actress Zareen Khan at a restaurant in Mumbai. The speculation grew after the two were also seen celebrating Diwali together.
However, Rohed addressed the reports at the time and denied that the two were dating. Speaking to The Free Press Journal, he said that they were “good friends” and had simply met for dinner.
From Films To Bigg Boss 20
Now, Rohed is stepping into a completely different space with Bigg Boss 20. Unlike his film roles, where audiences have largely seen him as an actor, the reality show will put the spotlight on his personality.
