India’s U19 stars Kanishk Chouhan and Vedant Trivedi sent Indian fans on a nostalgic trip for the great Virat Kohli after unveiling their special celebrations over the title victory at the ICC U19 World Cup 2026 in Harare on Friday, February 6.
As Ayush Mhatre and company received their individual medals and posed for photographs with the prized silverware, the duo of Chouhan and Trivedi momentarily left their teammates and started doing push-ups in perfect sync.
As the unique celebrations caught the fans’ attention online, one of them emotionally recalled the moment Kohli performed the ‘Gangnam’ dance and did a series of pushups in all excitement and jubilation just before posing with his teammates following victory at the 2013 ICC Champions
Trophy in England.
Soon after Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s men defeated England in Birmingham in a thrilling finale, they stepped over to the podium to receive their medals and the special white jackets. Dhoni then got his teammates aligned for the memorable picture behind the ‘champions’ board.
Just then, Kohli jovially came in front and did the then-famous steps of the ‘Gangnam Style’ song and also went through the push-ups while his teammates roared for him at the back.
This Kohli fan posted the edited clip with the song, ‘Just How Fast The Night Changes’, evoking “Nostalgia” in the air for other passionate supporters of the legendary India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru cricketer.

People absolutely loved the edit, which took them momentarily back to the good old times when Kohli’s crucial innings of 43 off 34 deliveries helped revive Team India’s fortunes after early hiccups and gave the bowling attack a chance to compete in the rain-marred 20-over final.
The Men in Blue later defended the low-key target of 130 by five runs, with spin duo Ravichandran Ashwin (2/15) and Ravindra Jadeja (2/24) locking the game up at their end and delivering critical breakthroughs. Fans would also fondly recall the 18th over bowled by Ishant Sharma under pressure as he dismissed the set pair of Eoin Morgan and Ravi Bopara to change the game for Dhoni’s team.
