Manchester United concluded December 2025 with a 1-1 draw against bottom-placed Wolves at Old Trafford in the Premier League encounter between the sides on Wednesday.
Strikes from Joshua Zirkzee and Ladislav
Krejci cancelled each other out to earn both sides a point on the day. Zirkzee opened the scoring on the day in the 27th minute as he was helped on by a deflection on his shot from the edge of the area, on the back of a brilliant bit of work by Ayden Heaven.
Credit to Zirkzee for his goal but that was brilliant work from Ayden Heaven! 👏🏼pic.twitter.com/mTJSpv9qD9

Krejci netted for Rob Edwards’ Wolves at the stroke of the half-time whistle to send the sides into the tunnel on level terms, as the game ended up in the same mane.
Amorim opted to withdraw Zirkzee ahead of the second half of the game to bring on Jack Fletcher and opined that he had to pull off the tactical alteration as United were, “struggling with their midfielders, and sometimes you can attack better with less strikers”.
“We played with three strikers, sometimes that’s not the best thing to attack well”. “We were running around trying to get hold of the ball,” Amorim said.
“He just needs to do his part, to show his talent, because he’s a talented guy”.
“He needs to step up in the duels, because the rest, he has that, the fans love it. And just that, just do his job and have fun”.
United stand sixth in the table with 30 points from 19 matches, level on points with fifth-placed Chelsea and split only on goal difference.
Fourth-placed Liverpool, with 32 points from 18 outings, take on Leeds on Thursday, while table toppers Arsenal put an end to Aston Villa’s incredible run with a 4-1 win at the Emirates. Second-placed Manchester City take on Sunderland on Friday.
