The iconic ’90s track Bijuria is back and it is creating a storm online. Reimagined for the upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, the song has quickly become a trending sensation, thanks to the impressive music video featuring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. As buzz around the song increases, Maniesh Paul, who plays a key role in the film, recreated the dance steps alongside none other than the OG singer, Sonu Nigam.
Sharing a glimpse of the performance on Instagram, Maniesh expressed his joy and wrote, “Sab ne kahan do it with the OG. Toh maine kaha LO JI. 26th years back I heard this song when I was in school and today I have the privilege to dance on it and feature in it as it’s in our film!!!!! Can you believe it!!! Now this is magic!

The Original Bijuria
Sonu Nigam sang the song Bijuria in 1999 for Mausam. Upon its release, the track became a nationwide rage. Composed by Ravi Pawar and penned by Sonu Nigam with Ajay Jhingran, it ruled parties and weddings, becoming one of the most beloved hits of that era.
The Rendition
For the 2025 version, music composer Tanishk Bagchi came on board to give it a modern twist, with new female vocals by Raataan Lambiyan singer Asees Kaur. The music video, featuring Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf and Akshay Oberoi, is as colourful and fun as the beats.
