The gazette notification for the BMC Ward No. 205 (F/South) was issued on December 15, 2025 (Monday), the last date of scrutiny of nominations was December 31, 2025 (Wednesday) and the last date of withdrawal of nominations was January 2, 2026 (Friday). Ambekar Road (Parel Tank Road) and Acharya Donde Road (King Edward Road) at Sant Gora Kumbhar Chowk and running eastwards along the southside of Acharya Donde Marg upto its junction with Thokershi Jivraj Road; thence southwards along the westside of Thokershi Jivraj Road upto its junction with Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg; thence southwards along the westside of Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg upto its junction with Veer Shrikant Keshav Hadkar Marg; thence westwards along the northside of Veer Shrikant Keshav Hadkar Marg upto its junction with G.D. Ambekar Road; thence northwards along the eastside of G.D.Ambekar Road upto its junction with Acharya Donde Marg…….the starting point. PREVIOUS BMC ELECTION RESULT

The last Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections were held on February 21, 2017, in which Shiv Sena was the single largest party with 84 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party won 82 seats. Indian National Congress secured 31 seats, Nationalist Congress Party won nine, and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena won seven seats. Other parties included Samajwadi Party, which won six seats; the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen won two seats and the Akhil Bhartiya Sena won a single seat. Five Independent candidates also won seats in the election.
