Badshah Teases Samay Raina, Says 'Get A Good Editor' Ahead Of India's Got Latent 2

The latest post from Samay Raina in collaboration with Netflix India has sparked curiosity around India’s Got Latent Season 2. The social media post seemingly confirmed that the next season of Samay’s show will premiere on the OTT platform. Ever since the post dropped, fans have been reacting to it with evil eye, green chilli, and lemon emojis. Amid this, Badshah, Raftaar, Aly Goni, Ashish Chanchlani, Tony Kakkar, and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, among many other celebrities, have reacted to the post too.

Among many, it was Badshah’s comment that stole the spotlight. The ace rapper, while reacting to the post dropped by Samay Raina, wrote, “Get a good editor,” hinting at being very careful while referring to the controversy that led to the show’s shutdown.

Raftaar and Ashish Chanchlani reacted to the post by dropping lemon and chilli emojis in the comment section. Nagma Mirajkar dropped a fire emoji in the comments section.

Fans concerned about India’s Got Latent Season 2 being censored

As soon as the post hinting at Latent Season 2 premiering on Netflix went live, fans started reacting to it. While many fear censorship, a few have requested Samay to drop the first episode featuring Ranveer Allahbadia. “Just hope it doesn’t get censored like Dhurandhar,” a user wrote.

Samay Raina confirms controversial show

Samay Raina had already announced that India’s Got Latent would return for a second season. He first shared the update during Still Alive, where he spoke about the future of the show and suggested that it would not end at its peak. Since then, the comedian has continued to tease its comeback.

In April, he informed fans through Instagram Stories that India’s Got Latent Season 2 was officially happening. He also shared a registration link for viewers interested in joining the live audience for the upcoming season. Samay later repeated the update during an Instagram Ask Me Anything session. Reacting to questions about the show’s future, he said he was taking a break for the time being but planned to start working on the next season soon.
