The buzz around Maa Inti Bangaram continues to grow after Samantha recently shared an interesting behind-the-scenes revelation about the film’s development. During an interaction, the actress revealed that the makers originally wanted Sai Pallavi as the lead actress. However, due to Sai Pallavi’s busy shooting schedule and prior commitments, she was unable to take up the film.
On Saturday, Samanth Ruth Prabhu shared a video in which she revealed that director Nandini Reddy originally wrote the script with Sai Pallavi in mind. However, due to her packed shooting commitments, Sai Pallavi could not take up the project. The script was then reworked for Samantha. Reacting to Samantha’s revelation, Sai Pallavi shared a heartfelt message on Instagram.
She wrote, “MIB was meant to reach you, dear @samantharuthprabhuoffl Garu..Sending you and @nandureddy Garu the biggest hug and best wishes And yes soon.” She also dropped a big hint about their future collaboration.

Talking about her next, Samantha shared that the world of “Maa Inti Bangaaram” is rooted and emotional with a narrative dedicated to being family first. “Maa Inti Bangaaram tells the story of a woman whose strength comes as much from her vulnerability as from her courage. In May, makers released the trailer. It shows Samantha arriving at her boyfriend’s place. But when she arrives she was thrown lot of questioning including, “I think I’ve seen you before.” “What is your name?” and “where are you from?” However, she asks a loaded question in reply. “Do you know who I really am?” The film stars Diganth and Gulshan Devaiah in key roles, with a supporting cast featuring Sree Mukhi, Gautami, Anand, Lakshmi, Srinivas Gavireddy, and Manjusha. Samantha’s Tralala Moving Pictures has produced this film.
Sai Pallavi’s work front
The actress made her Bollywood debut with EK Din co starring Junaid Khan. She will be next seen in a big project, Ramayana. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the lead role. Ramayana: Part I is slated for a theatrical release this Diwali, while the second chapter will release on Diwali 2027.
