Peddi is shaping up as one of the major releases of 2026. Led by Ram Charan, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and now Boman Irani.
Since its announcement, Peddi has steadily drawn attention. From the first-look posters to teaser glimpses, the film has remained in discussion on social media. Its first single, Chikiri Chikiri, also saw a strong response, crossing 46 million views within 24 hours of release. Adding to the momentum, the makers have confirmed that Boman Irani has joined the shoot. The update was shared on social media along with a behind-the-scenes picture featuring Boman Irani with director Buchi Babu Sana and cinematographer R. Rathnavelu. Sharing the image, the team wrote, “The legendary actor @bomanirani, @BuchiBabuSana and @RathnaveluDop from the shoot of #Peddi ❤🔥 #PEDDI WORLDWIDE RELEASE ON 27th MARCH, 2026.” Boman Irani is known for his work across popular Hindi films such as Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Don – The Chase Begins Again, 3 Idiots and Jolly LLB. His addition to the cast has sparked curiosity about the role he will play in the film.
Ram Charan has wrapped up the Delhi shooting schedule of his upcoming film Peddi. The makers recently shared behind-the-scenes photos from the sets. The pictures quickly went viral across social media, sparking massive buzz among the actor’s fan base. The shoot was cancelled earlier because of a bomb blast. Taking to his Instagram handle, cinematographer Ratnavelu confirmed wrapping up Delhi schedule. “Delhi schedule wrapped in style Immersive, poetic visuals. Ram Charan bro at his incredible best,” read the caption. Recently, Ram Charan’s photos from the sets were also leaked. He was seen walking in formals near the Parliament.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu Sharma. The film is scheduled for a pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026. The film is presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru with Ishan Saksena as the co-producer.
