The All India Management Association (AIMA) has opened applications for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for the December 2025 session. This entrance exam enables admission into MBA and PGDM programmes. Candidates interested in MAT 2025 can apply through the official website at mat.aima.in.
MAT is a national-level management entrance exam offered in two formats: a computer-based test (CBT) and a paper-based test (PBT). Candidates have the option to take both formats (PBT + CBT) and can use the higher score for their business school applications. The exam will be conducted in over 60 cities across the country.

The fee is Rs 2,200 for one mode and Rs 3,800 for both modes (CBT + PBT).
AIMA MAT December 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate candidates from any discipline can apply for MAT 2025. Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible, as long as they have a working email ID and can upload digital copies of their photo and signature during registration.

AIMA MAT December 2025: Exam Pattern:
The exam will consist of 150 questions to be answered in 120 minutes (2 hours). The Paper-Based Test (PBT) will include five sections: Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, and Economic and Business Environment. Each section will contain 30 questions. Candidates should note that there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The overall score will be based on all five sections of the MAT.
Candidates who meet the minimum cut-off marks can move on to the next stage. The selection process includes three rounds: a group discussion (GD), a personal interview, and a written ability test. The association will release a separate merit list for each round, and candidates who pass all the rounds will be eligible for admission. MAT exam scores are valid for one year.
