Elizabeth Olsen has long preferred to keep her personal life away from the spotlight, but a recent public appearance has sparked excitement among fans. The actor, known for balancing blockbuster fame with a relatively private lifestyle, was recently photographed during an outing in Los Angeles, drawing attention for a very special reason.
According to People, the Marvel star is expecting her first child with husband Robbie Arnett. Olsen was spotted at a restaurant in Los Angeles wearing a white button-down shirt, with part of the garment left open at the bottom, revealing a visible baby bump.
The actor was also seen gently resting a hand on her stomach as she walked outside the venue, further fuelling speculation that the couple are preparing
to welcome a new addition to their family.
Olsen and Arnett have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye since they first got together in 2017. The pair reportedly met through a mutual friend while vacationing in Mexico that year and later moved in together in 2018, according to Page Six.
News of their engagement surfaced in 2019, but the couple remained characteristically private about their relationship. Fans got a surprise in June 2021 when Olsen casually referred to Arnett as her husband during an interview.
“I also just noticed that my husband put Little Miss Magic,” she said while pointing to a book from the Little Miss series.
The comment quickly sparked speculation about their marital status, which Olsen later addressed publicly. In 2022, she confirmed that she and Arnett had tied the knot in a private ceremony before the pandemic.
“We eloped and then we had a wedding at another time. It was before COVID,” she said, as quoted by Page Six.
Over the years, Olsen has built an impressive career across independent films, television and major Hollywood franchises. She first gained widespread recognition with her critically acclaimed performance in the 2011 independent drama Martha Marcy May Marlene.
She later became a global star through her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Her most recent appearance as the character came in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Beyond Marvel, Olsen has also earned praise for projects such as the Disney+ series WandaVision, HBO Max’s Love & Death and Facebook Watch’s Sorry for Your Loss.
