Vijay Deverakonda Is ‘Angry’ Over Jana Nayagan Leak, Demands Accountability: ‘Issue Needs To Get Sorted Asap’

As Thalapathy Vijay’s final film ‘Jana Nayagan’ got leaked online, Vijay Deverakonda has strongly condemned the piracy issue, stating that it is deeply hurtful for everyone involved in making the film. He shared that he could personally relate to the pain, since he also went through something similar early in his career. The ‘Liger’ actor demanded swift action against those involved in the piracy issue, warning that failure to sort the issue would reflect a systemic failure. He also extended his support to the team of Vijay’s Jana Nayagan.

On Saturday, Vijay Deverakonda took to X (formerly Twitter), and wrote, “The Jana Nayagan leak makes me angry. I’ve experienced personally the pain and sense

of loss when something like this happens, early in my career. You feel like a target, you feel a loss of hope, it’s not just about me, there are co-actors, directors, producers, and so many who have all their dreams on the line.”

He further demanded accountability, and wrote, “This current issue needs to get sorted Asap and the people behind it identified, and if it doesn’t it reflects a systemic failure. It keeps reminding us how insensitive people can be, and the extent some will go to cause harm without a second thought. Celebs Who Condemned Jana Nayagan Leak

Apart from Vijay Deverakonda, many other celebrities including Chiranjeevi, Sivakarthikeyan, Rajinikanth. Kamal Haasan and others condemned Jana Nayagan leak. Rajinikanth wrote that the leak of the film has caused ‘shock and pain’ and that film associations must raise their voice against the issue of piracy.

Meanwhile, the producers of Jana Nayagan have initiated legal action against the source of the leak, with further proceedings underway.

KVN Productions LLP, the producers of Jana Nayagan, issued a firm statement, warning action against the violators, stating that every digital action is traceable and urged audiences not to engage with or spread the leaked footage.
