Patriot, headlined by Malayalam cinema legends Mohanlal and Mammootty, has opened to a strong response at the box office after its theatrical release on Friday. The spy-action drama, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, has managed to make a solid impression in both domestic and overseas markets within its first two days.

With domestic and international collections combined, Patriot now stands at a worldwide gross of Rs 50.23 crore in just two days. The numbers indicate strong curiosity around the film, especially given the coming together of Mohanlal and Mammootty in a large-scale thriller.
