Aug 29 (PTI) A station house officer (SHO) was found dead at his police station here on Saturday with a gunshot wound on his chest, with officials suspecting he may have died by suicide, police said.
Naggal SHO Karmveer Singh’s body was found inside the police station, with his service weapon lying nearby.
Police said the possibility of suicide is not being ruled out, while other aspects of the case are also under investigation. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
Karmveer — originally from Kurukshetra — had been serving as Naggal SHO for the past one year. PTI COR CHS ARB ARB
