In Odisha, Jagatsinghpur and Mayurbhanj districts shut all government, government-aided and private schools as a precautionary measure, according to Economic Times. The closures come as a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal intensified into a depression and is likely to cross the North Odisha–West Bengal coast near Paradip and Sagar Island around Monday noon.
